Even though I’m a part of catering, I was really hoping to work as a Lottie server at least once! Today was finally that day and it was so much fun.
Oh and I’m keeping the hat.
Work wasn’t too bad today and it was pretty chill. I became a certified Messiah driver so now I can use the vehicles during work! Oh and when I had time, I grabbed some cinnamon toast crunch for the first time in ages and remembered why I loved them so much. Then I went to dinner with the fambam, Ian and Rose. Cam joined us as well and took our picture outside Lottie. The meme is pertaining to the song Ian always sings from this YouTube video called “I’m a Korean,” and I just added it on because as much as I hate it when he says it, it’s so catchy and hilarious. I don’t know what I’d do at Messiah with Rose and Ian. Rose and I took a nap afterwards for two hours then woke up at 10pm deciding to unpack. The room is just how I like it, organized, spacious, and almost empty. Anyways, I’m going to read a bit and sleep now. Deuces.
Andres came back to Messiah for a few hours to help us move to Witmer, which was so amazing of him to do. We only had 15 minutes to hang after everything, but it was still really nice to see him. Rose and I carried some of the stuff I had left and we looked like a couple of Adventure Ed majors, but the walk over to Witmer might as well be a hiking trip. Then we ate the food from Chipotle Ian bought us and napped for 3 hours. I talked to Andres for a little bit over an hour on the phone and then went with a few other people to watch The Great Gatsby. To sum it up, the movie was so good that I’m at a loss for words.

First 8 hour shift was the baccalaureate event for the seniors and it was fun, but exhausting. Met some great people and even got to network with an CPA certified Accountant, which was great. I met more of the Dining Services’ staff and they were wonderful people and make the long hours so much more bearable. Overall, it was a pretty great day.

My first day on the job was pretty simple and afterwards Rose, Ian, Eby, Ammi, and I all went to the mall. Emma moved out when we came back and we said goodbye to her just in time, then Rose and I dropped off Laura and her friends in Harrisburg. I hate driving through Pennsylvania back roads late at night, but at least Rose was with me the whole time. When we got Laura back on campus at 2:30am, I called Andres and slept with my phone beside me, but passed out after 5 minutes and he didn’t hang up until 4am when we were both asleep.
Worst part of staying on campus over the summer is not seeing this gorgeous boy everyday.

I was in a dress and just curled my hair, and Rose had just changed into her outfit so there was no way we were getting drenched. So, we permanently borrowed some trash bags, tore holes for our faces, and bolted back to Naugle. We’re always keeping it classy.
